  18.   At times, Borland software is purchased using a disk format
  19.   different from that used by your computer.  For instance, your
  20.   computer may use 3½" diskettes but the software came with 5¼"
  21.   diskettes or vice versa.  Often folks will take the software to a
  22.   friend using both diskette formats and make a set of disks in the
  23.   format that they need.

  25.   However, when running the install program, you will find the
  26.   program asking for more diskettes than you have or failing to do
  27.   everything the manual indicates it will do.  These problems
  28.   result from moving the software from one format to another.  The
  29.   install program depends upon the original diskette format.

  31.   To resolve the problem, call Borland's Disk Replacement Line at
  32.   (800) 621-3132 and order a set of diskettes in the proper format.
  33.   Be sure to have your serial number handy when calling this
  34.   service.

  36.   If immediate installation is required and sufficient hard disk
  37.   space is available, you may copy all files from all diskettes to
  38.   a single temporary directory on the hard disk.  Run install from
  39.   this directory on the hard disk.  When install is finished,
  40.   delete files from the temporary directory.  Then you will be able
  41.   to run the software normally.
